i have gotten a lot of compliments for the cakes, especially the frosting.

for the cake i used betty crocker cake mix. it turned very good. i used two boxes cake mix to make 36 cupcakes and a one layer heart cake.


for the frosting i used cream cheese frosting. it was so delicious. i doubled the recipe and covered cakes perfectly.

Ingredients

• 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Mix in the vanilla, then gradually stir in the confectioners' sugar. (i used a few drops of red food color, i thought Angela would love pink frosting, and she did.)Store in the refrigerator after use.
